ownerlotcars.com

Used cars for sale by owner. Exact city. One VIN. No dealers.

Other U.S. marketplaces mix metros, clone the same car across dealer accounts, and call that a filter. OwnerLot locks the city you pick, lists each VIN once, and blocks licensed dealers.

Used cars
City

Default is this city only. Pick a city, then 50 or 100 miles if you want nearby towns.

This city only

Pick Los Angeles and you get Los Angeles — not San Diego, not the whole state dumped in.

One VIN, one ad

The same car cannot hop accounts, even with a new title and shuffled photos. VIN and pictures are unique on OwnerLot.

Private owners only

No dealer lots. No wholesale spam. Max 3 active cars per person. Couples and guests on the same Wi‑Fi can each have an account.

Browse by city

Each city page is locked to that city. Search and sell cover every U.S. state and incorporated city.

How selling works

  1. 1. Prove you are a person. Dealers are rejected at the door.
  2. 2. Enter the VIN first. If it is already live, the listing is blocked.
  3. 3. Pin the exact city. Buyers who filter that city will only see this car there.

Common questions

Are these cars for sale by owner?

Yes. OwnerLot is a U.S. marketplace for used cars for sale by owner. Licensed dealers cannot list here.

Does city search mix in nearby metros?

No. If you open Los Angeles, you get Los Angeles only. Distance stays off until you turn on a radius.

Can the same VIN be listed twice?

No. Each VIN can be live on one account. Taking an ad down does not free that VIN for someone else.

Is there a dealer inventory tab?

No. There is no dealer package, no lot feed, and no wholesale tools.
